— Another hot day is on the horizon for South Florida, with high temperatures reaching the low 90s. Today, heat index values are expected to climb into the triple digits, leading to a heat advisory in effect from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Rain chances are significantly lower, as moisture levels in the middle atmosphere have decreased—only isolated showers are likely. Throughout midweek, lower-than-average rain chances will continue.
